Asian Style

It’s been a long time since we’ve been in an area with a significant Asian population, which means its been a long time (14 years) since Miyuki was able to go to any stores that reminded her of Japan.  All that changed yesterday when we visited the nearby area of Chino Hills.

Suddenly I felt very much the minority.  Signs were in various asian languages, and Miyuki and the kids were ecstatic when they found all the foods they had gotten used to (at much greater cost than here), plus all the foods Miyuki hadn’t seen since Yokohama.

I present for you now some pictures of a very Japanese part of California.  Imagine my wife and kids screaming on the background.
